About

Rabbi Shimon B. Glickman is the Headteacher at Toras Emes Primary in Salford.

Between July 2014 and August 2017 he served as the director of communal activities at the Leeds Kollel. There he built a robust connection and many strong bonds between the Kollel and the local community. His work there can still be felt by the Kollel and the community, two years later.

Between July 2012 and July 2014, he was a member of the Rabbinic team at the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde in Munich, Germany, where, aside from his rabbinical and pastoral duties he was a driving force behind the Rabbinat’s digital presence, creating, building and maintaining their Facebook account and YouTube channel.

He is a sixth generation Scot who spent seven years in Israel, receiving three Rabbinic ordinations from The Jerusalem Kollel. He also began his BSc (hons) in Psychology whilst he was there.

In Israel, Rabbi Glickman actively led Taglit-Birthright groups, and taught at the Aish World Center.

In his spare time, he is an online Rabbi for Project Genesis, shortvort.com and torah.org, answering their ‘Chat with the Rabbi’ services.

Rabbi Glickman can be found on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ (or in his office)!
